I expect you’d like to hear what a fandabbydozey time me and m’Marmalade Chum had? Well…let me tell you a tail…

What actually happened was, the parental units buggered off to Birsay to the warm cosy home of Jeelie Piece (and the Magnificent Figgy) leaving us with two bowls of catfood (wet) and two bowls of catfood (dry) in mid-afternoon. The presents had been opened and admired, the bipeds had been for a stroll in the sunshine and we had no inkling that we were shortly to be abandoned for 24 hours.

And I can tell you they were not in any great state when they arrived back home on Boxing Day. It seems to me we should have been invited too to keep an eye on the proceedings. Does anyone know what “Laphroig *groan*” means? 

So, not one sniff of turkey, or stuffing, or chipolatas, or gravy for me and Marmers - not even a cattybag!
