Frogerama!
I truly believe that gorgeous Señor Froggie, decked out in his alluring finery, has made all the difference. The very day after he appeared, resplendent in his pagan florals, his froggie friends began arriving for their Spring sojourn in Pond 1.
Don’t tell me they weren’t lured by this fine upstanding figure of a frog. How could they resist? His romantic antecedents made it a dead cert. He has since cast off his potent mix of primulas, snowdrops, croakus, lungwort and daff, in exchange for a candle, which he holds aloft day and night, to be a beacon to all amorous amphibians everywhere. Like a small but stalwart Statue of Ribbity, he stands erect in Big Window, a tiny twinkly light of hope in a murky world.
Let your starry flame glow in the depths of Night, Señor Froggy. We salute you!

Inversneckie sounds delightful (especially if the serfs are going to be there). Auntie Janice probably deserves a medal for putting up with you two self-centred pussums. I’ve got one of those myself (old blue eyes says hello btw).

Did the PUs do the waterworks all by themselves? I am impressed. As to the frogs, clearly some of them do not swim too well, and required help: how they held on to the necks of their mates for dear life!! How/where do the adult frogs winter?

Some of us would like to forget Monty in Applecross. I hope the locals made loadsadosh out of his brief brush with meaningless subsistance (aye right!) and laughed all the way to the Inn. I’m not surprised the ‘deal’ on Gavin Maxwell’s old place ‘fell through at the last minute’…Ptui!
Tapioca is an excellent way to thicken chicken and sweetcorn soup without it becoming cloudy…
And…as you can see, we’re freecats once again. The parental sojourn in Dolphinsludge meant Purple Sweetie coming home full to the gun’les with eerie-orums and suchlike. Including a bag of mixed blue materials from a quilt shop…of which more anon.

Not you as well FC? If you are not seeing what everyone in the world can now see it’s because your browser is reading the page from a cache. You need to clear your cache and reload the page. I explained to Taddoe how to do this but as you are using one of those overcoat things maybe running some sort of African wildlife holiday I can’t (won’t!) help you. Live with your choices! (Okay I’ll help if you are going to pine away).

Forgot to say it was Taddoe’s fault really - she put herself down for a PG rated avatar trying to get us all interested. According to Gravatar PG stands for “may contain rude gestures, provocatively dressed individuals, the lesser swear words, or mild violence”. When you see her avatar there’s none of that at all!
This, not being that sort of site, only accepts G rated avatars. Don’t even ask what the R and X rated ones are!
